How The Grouch Stole Christmas San Diego Concert reviews
Horribly Run Venue
Alamodome, get it together.
I paid over $300 a piece for these tickets, and missing any portion of the show due to the venue is unacceptable.
Once we arrived to the Alamodome, it was about ten till start time (8pm), and we ended up parking about a mile away and walking. Traffic was being directed all onto small streets.
For some reason, all but two gates where closed, so the lines were massive and wrapped around the building. We stood outside waiting to have our tickets scanned for 45 mins, missing the first 30 minutes of the show. There was very little signage, and no employees helping direct all the people trying to find their entrance.
One would think that a venue like the Alamodome would know how to handle crowds of tens of thousands of fans, but no, they do not.
Luckily, the production was wonderful, and How The Grouch Stole Christmas is an incredible performer. We missed “Tiny Dancer” though while in line outside.
